Master Builders Tasmania is an industry association that was formed in 1891 to promote the interests, viewpoints and contributions of its members and the broader construction industry. We are a ‘not for profit’ employer organisation that seeks to achieve our goals through advocacy, training, apprentice programs, member committees, partnership agreements and events. We are a small, high performing team with a large and diverse membership.
The Membership Experience Officer will be responsible for administration for membership and some events, reception duties and database management and will report to the Membership Experience Manager. The position is based in our Devonport Office.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- New Membership admin
- Regional General Meeting admin
- Reception duties
- Database management
- Events admin
You will have:
- Interest in the construction industry or industry organisations
- Experience in an administrative or reception role
- Confident in communications – written and verbal
- A friendly and welcoming disposition
- A collaborative and inclusive attitude
- Self-motivated and pro-active
- Customer service excellence
This position is currently offered as a 6-month contract with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. We will consider part-time or full-time hours for the correct candidate and some out of office hours may be required. MBT also recognises the importance of diversity.
